During Fashion Week, we never get tired of discovering tomorrow’s future talents. On October 4, 2026, at Maison des Métallos, Global Fashion Collective presented the runway show by the students from Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO), who traveled all the way from Mexico City to reveal their collection “DEVENIR”.
A Certain Vision of Sustainable Fashion
The silhouettes presented highlighted a certain vision of sustainable fashion. On the runway, upcycled materials like reclaimed bicycle rubber, seat belts, and market bags met organza, glass beads, and dried chilies. From 3D-printed details to street altar-inspired pieces, the collection explored identity, memory, and transformation with remarkable craftsmanship.
Each look explored the theme of metamorphosis, playing with textures and volumes in a deconstructed manner. It is precisely this kind of authentic and visually compelling approach that we love to highlight at Usuel Magazine.
A Showcase for Emerging Talent
We salute the initiative of platforms like Global Fashion Collective, which give international visibility and an opportunity to students from across the globe. By opening the doors of Paris to them, the organization allows emerging talents to express themselves on the world stage. IBERO demonstrated that the new generation knows how to bridge eco-design with a strong identity, and we look forward to following their journey.
