On March 9th, 2026, La Fabrique Nomade presented Traits d’Union 10 at the Maison des Métallos, as part of Paris Fashion Week, under the patronage of LVMH.

To mark its 10th anniversary, La Fabrique Nomade brought together Ludovic Winterstan, independent fashion designer with an eco-conscious approach, Matthias Schneider, Women’s Runway Jewelry at Louis Vuitton, and Atelier Baqué Molinié, specialists in fine embroidery. The kind of show we at Usuel love to cover, where craft, ethics and engagement are as important as the clothes themselves.

Empreinte: a collection from 14 nationalities

The collection Empreinte explores the dialogue between garment, body and movement. The pieces were crafted by jewelers, tailors and embroiderers from Cape Verde, Burkina Faso, Afghanistan, Ivory Coast, Ukraine, Congo, Bangladesh, Colombia, Togo, Russia, Sri Lanka, Senegal, Iran and the United States.

10 years of La Fabrique Nomade

Founded in 2016, La Fabrique Nomade supports the professional integration of migrant and refugee artisans in France, an initiative we at Usuel deeply admire. 10 years after its creation, the association confirms its role as an essential bridge between international talent and the prestige of French craftsmanship. It is a masterful demonstration that elegance and ethics are, in fact, inseparable.
