On March 7th, 2026, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, MAXHOSA AFRICA took over the Philanthro Lab Paris to present Siyi Kulture, the Autumn-Winter 2026 collection by Laduma Ngxokolo.

Siyi Kulture : more than a collection
We have been following Laduma’s work for several seasons now, and every year, MAXHOSA AFRICA confirms what we already know : there is no show quite like this one. And this year is no exception.
Siyi Kulture, “We Are Culture”, carries within it the entire philosophy of the South African house. This is not just another collection on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, but a true declaration of belonging. Culture is not a static heritage. It is lived, expressed, and transmitted through every stitch.
African culture never waited to be validated by European capitals to shape the world. It has always been there, foundational, influential, immeasurable. Laduma reminds us of this with this collection, and he does so with an elegance that leaves no one indifferent.

An unmatched energy
What sets every MAXHOSA AFRICA presentation apart is this ability to transform any space into a place of communion, where social status and background no longer matter
This year, dancers opened the show to amapiano rhythms, and as always, the entire room vibrated. You do not just watch a MAXHOSA AFRICA show, you feel it, you live it. The soundscape, the movement, the colors : everything converges to create something truly transcendent.
The creations truly rise to the level of this staging. The handmade knitwear demonstrates a rare technical mastery where wool and silk intertwine. And this palette of vibrant colors, more than a simple reference to Africa, has now established itself as the natural signature of the house.
We always fall for the silhouettes. They wear the Xhosa motifs with a disarming ease, never slipping into folklore. Special mention for the accessories : particularly the traditional Xhosa necklaces, which are absolute must-haves for anyone looking to make an impression.

The voice of a continent in the fashion industry
What deeply moves us about MAXHOSA AFRICA’s work is its consistency. Season after season, Laduma Ngxokolo refuses to choose between heritage and modernity, or between prestige and ethics. Every piece is crafted by artisans in South Africa, and every creation carries the story of a community. In an industry that often speaks of sustainability without bearing its constraints, MAXHOSA AFRICA proves that luxury and responsibility are not incompatible and can in fact be inseparable.
Siyi Kulture is part of a broader vision : to position Africa not as a mere curiosity at Fashion Week, but as an essential player in the global fashion and luxury industry.
